A Movement For ALL People To Love God, Love Others, And Make Disciples!
DAILY DEVOTION (ACTS 2:42, 46)
Scripture is the very Word of God. Through it, He equips us with all we need to learn about Him and live a life pleasing to Him. A daily rhythm of reading, meditating on and applying God’s Word to our lives is key.
PRAYER (ACTS 2:42)
One of the most important elements in any relationship is communication. Prayer is just that: engaging God in a conversation, sharing our hearts with Him, and spending time listening to His voice, both individually and in community.
REPENTANCE (ACTS 2:37-39)
Jesus saves those who believe and call upon His name. Saving grace is once and for all (justification) and also a continual invitation to repent for our wrongdoings. With the help of the Spirit we take inventory of our lives, humbly and honestly confess our sin, and turn away from our sin toward God in surrender. Through Jesus’ offer of forgiveness, we receive true freedom.
SACRIFICIAL GENEROSITY (ACTS 2:44-45)
Giving demonstrates our dependence on God. We acknowledge that all we own has been given to us by Him. In His generosity toward us, God desires that we, too, are generous and will use our resources as a tangible way to partner with Him in His work in the world and in the lives of those around us. We are blessed to be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).
SERVE THE COMMUNITY (ACTS 2:44-45)
We are called and equipped by the Holy Spirit to share God’s love by participating in the ministry of Jesus. He has given us agency with Him to fearlessly influence our society and the world. When we serve in the world and in His Church, we impact those around us and reveal God’s glory.
SHARE YOUR STORY (ACTS 2:14-36)
The greatest gift we can ever give someone who doesn’t yet know Jesus is an introduction to Him. Sharing our life stories is the most powerful way to show the transforming power and salvation offered through Jesus Christ. When we tell our stories of transformation, we tell the story of God.
WORSHIP (ACTS 2:26-28, 46-47)
As children of God, it is important to consistently set aside time to remember what God has done, to thank Him for it, and to put Him on display as we give Him the glory. In all circumstances, we are called to practice God-centered worship.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Therefore, our ministry emphasizes the exposition of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelation, line upon line, precept upon precept.
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments to be the full record of God’s self-disclosure to mankind. Different men, while writing according to their own styles and personalities, were supernaturally moved along by the Holy Spirit to record God’s very words, inerrant in the original writings.
Therefore, those applying themselves to study its literal, historical-grammatical context can accurately understand God’s Word. Scripture is fully trustworthy as our final and sufficient authority for all of life.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
We believe in the one living and true God, eternally existing in perfect unity as three equally and fully divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Each member of the Godhead, while executing distinct but complementary roles in redemptive history, has precisely the same nature, attributes, and being—and is equally worthy of the same glory, honor, and obedience.
(John 17:3; Matthew 28:19–20; John 1:1–4; Acts 5:3–4)
We believe God the Father created all things in six literal days for His glory according to His own will, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
He upholds all things by the Word of His power and grace, exercising sovereign headship over all creation, providence, and redemption.
(Revelation 4:11; Colossians 1:17; Hebrews 1:3)
We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son, moved by love in accordance with the will of the Father, took on human flesh.
Conceived through the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the virgin Mary. He, being fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life and sacrificially shed His blood and died on the cross in our place, accomplishing redemption for all who place their faith in Him.
He arose visibly and bodily from the dead three days later, ascended into Heaven, and is now at the Father’s right hand. He is the Head of the Church and the only Savior and Mediator between God and man. He will return to earth in power and glory to consummate His redemptive mission.
(John 1:1, 14, 18; John 14:8–9; 1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ during this age.
He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, draws the unredeemed to repentance and faith, and at salvation imparts new spiritual life to the believer. He brings each believer into union with Christ and the Body of Christ.
The Holy Spirit sanctifies, seals, fills, guides, instructs, comforts, equips, empowers, permanently indwells at salvation, and bestows spiritual gifts for Christlike living and service.
(John 16:8; 13:15; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:22; 4:11–12; Romans 8:9–17; 12:4–8; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 12:4–5, 11–13, 19; Galatians 5:25; Hebrews 2:1–4; 2 Corinthians 12:12)
We believe that God created mankind as “male and female” in His own image and likeness, free of sin, to glorify Himself and enjoy His fellowship.
Tempted by Satan, but in the sovereign plan of God, mankind freely chose to disobey, bringing sin, death, and condemnation to all. All human beings are totally depraved by nature and choice—alienated from God and under His righteous wrath. All are in desperate need of the Savior.
(Genesis 3:1–6; Romans 3:10–19; Romans 1:18, 32)
We believe that human life is sacred—a gift from God—including the unborn.
(Jeremiah 1:5; Psalms 139:13–16)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as the substitutionary atonement in our place. Salvation is found in none other than Jesus Christ.
Jesus’s death on the cross fully satisfied God’s righteous wrath. When a person turns from sin in repentance and places their faith in Christ alone by grace alone, they are:
Genuine faith continues in obedience and love for Christ with a life eager to glorify God and persevere to the end.
(Romans 8:37–39; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 12:13)
We believe that upon placing one’s faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, the believer is made part of the Body of Christ—the one universal church, of which Christ is the Head.
The Scriptures call believers to gather locally to devote themselves to:
God’s people are to meet regularly under the care of a plurality of elders, working in unity to glorify Christ.
(Ephesians 1:22–23; Acts 2:42–46; 1 Corinthians 14:26; Matthew 28:18–20; Ephesians 4:16)
We believe that all gifts—including our finances—are from God. We are called to be faithful stewards of everything God provides.
Giving is an act of worship, trust, and obedience. It should be joyful, purposeful, and sacrificial. We give our first fruits to God through tithes and offerings to support His work.
(1 Chronicles 29:14; Matthew 6:19–21; Luke 6:38; Malachi 3:10–11; 2 Corinthians 9:6–7; Mark 12:41–44)
We believe it is the aim, duty, and privilege of every believer and local church to glorify God by participating in the Great Commission—making disciples of all nations.
We prioritize efforts to establish, strengthen, and reproduce biblically-based churches that plant other churches for future generations and God’s glory.
We believe in dedicating children in the Christian faith to God. Parents may “set apart” their child to God. This includes infants, toddlers, and children up to the age of accountability.
Dedication is not baptism. While baptism is a personal decision, dedication is a commitment made by believing parents on behalf of their child. A believing parent may dedicate a child even if their spouse is not a believer.
(Proverbs 13:24; 22:6; 29:15; 1 Samuel 1:27–28; Luke 2:22)
We believe that Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water.
The Lord’s Supper is the united commemoration by believers of Christ’s death until He comes and should be preceded by a careful self-examination.
(Acts 2:41; Romans 6:3–6; 1 Corinthians 11:20–29)
We believe in and expectantly await the glorious, visible, personal, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The blessed hope of His return has vital bearing on the personal life, service, and mission of the believer. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The lost will be raised to judgment and experience eternal wrath in Hell. The saved will be raised to eternal joy in the new Heaven and new earth in the manifested presence of God.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Acts 1:3, 9; Hebrews 7:25–26)
We believe that God created mankind—male and female—in His own image and likeness, free of sin, to glorify Himself and enjoy His fellowship.
We believe it is the aim, duty, and privilege of every believer and local church fellowship to glorify God by responding as active participants in the Great Commandment and Great Commission call of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations.
(Matthew 22:36–39; Matthew 28:19)
